We have a blown-film die for your every need.
Our mono-layer dies range from types for diameters as low as 40 mm. up to 800 mm.
These are either fixed or rotating. From 100 mm. and up these dies are also available with internal bubble cooling, these types are fixed and would require an oscillating haul-off.
Our 3-layer dies range from models with 40 mm. diameter up to 1,200 mm. diameter, again with or without IBC and again, in case of IBC, they are fixed.
All dies have been designed using a software, developed in-house in collaboration with one of the leading, European die designers, resulting in optimum flow characteristics and extremely low residence times. Numerous simulations have proven the centrally fed, concentric spiral die still to be the most favourable design, even up to 7 layers, not only in terms of flow characteristics and residence times, but also in terms of tolerances.
Our standard dies yield gauge variations as low as plus/minus 4.5 %, without the use of profile control equipment. |
