From very simple to very sophisticated, also our winder program has something for everybody’s needs and budget.
The simple models offer good quality winding for the constrained budgets. From completely manual without any tension control to somewhat more complete types with a dancer roll system, these models are also part of our Compact and RotoCompact lines.
The most popular winder is our LSW. In its’ basic version it allows for the use of 3” and 6” shafts, has a sophisticated tension control system, rigorously based on dancer rollers and very effective lay-on-pressure control. Control of all parameters is though a colour touch-screen, provided with diagnostics pages for all sensors, maintenance pages, etc. All electrics and electronics are on-board, so it is extremely suitable for retrofitting existing extrusion lines.
A highly specialised version is the LSW/CL, especially designed for tacky films like cling or stretch materials. In additions to the standard LSW, it is provided with non-stick carbon-fibre rollers, dancer controlled separation nips to isolate the torque needed to open tacky films from the winding tension, silicone coating of all nip rolls instead of neoprene coating, a dull chrome-plated winding drum, etc.
Our top range winder is without doubt the SCW. This model offers contact, mixed contact/centre and gap winding with (optionally) reverse winding. A unique feature is the guillotine type, serrated knife assembly that cuts the web during roll change, in combination with an air jet system to blow the tail of the web onto the fresh core, making the use of sticky tape or hot melt on the core a matter of choice. |
